On this Valentine’s Day I wanted to write something about love but
thinking about it nothing seems right, mere words can't describe the feeling,
it is an emotion which can't be described in words. These days we celebrate Valentine’s
Day and expect so many special things on this day but then also today I think
there is more dissatisfaction and less love in relationships than compared to
the times of our grandparents or parents when they had not even heard about Valentine’s
Day. Any ways I am not going against Valentine’s Day, this post is about love.
Everybody have their definition of love, but for me love is in
moments, cherished moments with loved ones. Sometimes these moments bring tears
in the eyes, sometimes they bring joy in heart, sometimes they bring so much
love that I feel Goosebumps on my body, sometimes they bring sorrow and
sometimes happiness. It’s all about moments.
My beloved teacher once told me that these days it’s become a
culture to say "I love you" or "I care for you" every time
and it has become so common that people have forgotten the real meaning of
love. Love is not in words it’s in deeds.
Love can be just sharing silence together, just being one as
if nobody else exist in a room full of people, Love can be a look from a loved
one from a mile away when you know that that look is just for you, love can be
sharing a special moment with someone when nothing matters but only the sound
of his voice, Love can be when you feel Goosebumps on your body when you see
the face of that someone. Love can be when you feel sorrow when you are not
near that someone.
All the cherished moments defines love for me, sometimes just one
look, one hi, one kiss, one conversation is remembered for a long time and
sometimes words like " I love you" when you don't even know the meaning
of love are forgotten easily. I don't know maybe it’s just me but for me it’s
all about moments.
Love brings joy, pain, happiness, tears, smile, misery, bliss, it
has all the flavours which are there in this universe and I think Love is the
only thread which has sewn the whole universe together. I thank God for making
such an emotion as love as life would be so lifeless without love and for
giving me all the cherished moments.
